Dear Ben,
Your friends and I have been compiling this birthday blog/collage for you for the past month or so. Since so many of our friends are out of town, I wanted to pull something together that would seem like we're all here for a party to celebrate your 30th, even from afar. It's been really really hard for me not to tell you about all the neat things people have been sending me to put up here, and just how much people care about you. I am glad to have the friends we have. I am glad to have made friends together, and to have gotten to know eachother's friends from before we were together (we have lots of friends that have been friends with us longer than we've been together! 10 years....whoa). Such a blessing.
So, the idea for this blog was based upon the spirit of the blog "Words To Shoot By", in which a few photographers collaborate to take pictures of their interpretations of a single word. Your birthday blog is open to more media than just photographs. So I hope you enjoy.
